Phoenix Dancong tea originates from Fenghuang Mountain in Fenghuang Town, Chao’an District, Chaozhou City, Guangdong Province, China. Among its many varieties, the most famous is the Yinha Xiang Dancong, commonly known as "Duck Shit Aroma." The term "Dancong" refers to tea leaves harvested from a single tea tree and processed individually to highlight its unique fragrance and flavor.  

Ya Shi Xiang or "Duck Shit Aroma" is a distinctive variety of Phoenix Dancong tea, categorized as an oolong tea. Despite its unusual name, the tea's aroma is remarkably pleasant. According to local legend, the name was chosen by tea farmers to prevent others from stealing the prized tea trees, hoping the odd name would discourage interest. In reality, this tea is renowned for its rich floral and milky fragrance, with a smooth, full-bodied taste that has won over many tea enthusiasts.  

The Ya Shi Xiang or "Duck Shit Aroma" Dancong is not limited to a single floral note but combines floral and milky scents. The dry leaves emit a sweet, fresh fragrance, while the brewed tea offers a complex aroma that fills the mouth, leaving a long-lasting, satisfying aftertaste.
